Take the Express to Wintertainment
Turning your attention to warmer things makes cold weather a snap. We have three great recommendations for couples and families with kids.
January 14th, 21st, and 27th
If you’ve ever wondered what goes on at night in a museum, this is a rare opportunity to find out. Accompanied by a parent or guardian, the Museum of Natural History is letting children between the ages of 6 and 13 sleep over! Admission includes snacks, live animals, and flashlight-led missions.
Through January 16th
The New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show puts on display a dazzling (and living) recreation of Manhattan that must be seen to be believed. The entire exhibit is made entirely from natural plants, while over a dozen electric trains cruise overhead and below through the city.
January 28th @ 11:00 am
Winter Jam NYC in Central Park (near the Bandshell Area) is your best snow day ever. This sports festival is free for all ages and goes on rain, shine, or snow! There will be plenty of white powder around for sledding, snowshoeing, and lessons with equipment provided at no cost.
